The Inter midfield maestro has fallen out with the Italian clubs hierarchy over a dispute regarding his contract. Inter have asked Sneijder to take a substantial pay cut which the former Real Madrid man is unwilling to take. Sneijder has only made five appearances for the Nerazzurri this season, the last coming on the 26th of September. Inter Milan’s technical director Marco Branca has stated that the Dutchman “will not play until we have made the necessary modifications to his contract”.
